The Holt Road neighbourhood is notable for being the location of two of Kensington Regeneration’s flagship physical projects, Kensington Community Sports Centre and the Life Bank.
The area is also home to the rebuilt Kensington Infant and Junior Community School which has enjoyed significant success in recent years.
One of the most important developments in progress in the Holt Road neighbourhood is at Gilead Street where developers Lovell are creating 175 homes available for a mix of rent, shared ownership and outright sale.
As with the four other neighbourhoods, Holt Road has benefited from an extensive programme of environmental improvements funded by Kensington Regeneration. Retail facilities have also been upgraded with improvements to shops along Kensington and Prescot Road.
Holt Road is also home to the award-winning Kensington Community Learning Centre, a training centre of excellence for local residents.
