Holly Road is one of the four Kensington neighbourhoods located between the Kensington/Prescot Road and Edge Lane corridors.
Kensington Regeneration’s remaining major physical project in the area - the Beech Street complex on the former ice rink and bingo hall site on the corner with Prescot Road - is being completed in the Partnership’s final year. This ambitious scheme will include shops and offices as well as 50 new apartments. The centre will also incorporate a new fire station with community facilities to replace the existing station at Low Hill.
One of the jewels in the crown of the Holly Road neighbourhood is St Sebastian’s Primary School and its Field of Dreams Nursery. St Sebastian’s has achieved three outstanding Ofsted reports in a row - a record matched by only 20 schools in the country.
Residents in the Holly Road area also benefit from easy access to the award-winning Kensington Community Learning Centre.
